On the morning of April 8, 2024, the Binh Dinh provincial delegation, led by Mr. Ho Quoc Dung – Member of the Central Party Committee, Provincial Party Secretary, and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, met with the Kansai Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry (Meti Kansai, Japan). The delegation was received by Mr. Morishita Tsuyoshi, Director of Meti Kansai.
During the meeting, Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, presented Binh Dinh province’s potential and advantages. He elaborated on the investment environment, policies to attract investment, priority fields and industries, land rental prices, reduction and exemption policies, labor force availability, and capital flow for enterprises investing in economic zones and industrial zones, with a special emphasis on the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park.
Mr. Morishita Tsuyoshi, Director of Meti Kansai, emphasized that Kansai stands as Japan’s second-largest economic, financial, and technological hub. Renowned for its robust manufacturing sector, the region hosts the headquarters of prominent Japanese corporations like Panasonic, Sharp, Sanyo, and Kawasaki. Meti Kansai is actively encouraging Japanese investors to explore opportunities in Vietnam. Mr. Morishita Tsuyoshi pledged to assist Binh Dinh province in facilitating the signing of cooperation agreements, particularly in human resource development. Additionally, he committed to supporting the advancement of the supporting industry to bolster its growth alongside other sectors where Kansai-based businesses excel.

Their efforts have been dedicated to showcasing Vietnam’s potential and advantages to Japanese partners, with the aim of attracting investment and fostering business cooperation from Japanese enterprises.
