On the morning of October 15th, at the Provincial People’s Committee office, Mr. Doan Van Phi, a Member of the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, convened a meeting with a delegation from Nagano Prefectural Council in Japan. The visiting delegation included Mr. Miyashita Katsuhiko, Head of the Economic, Tourism, and Enterprise Department, and Mr. Nakagawa Hiroji, Head of the Forestry, Agriculture, and Fisheries Department. Also present at the meeting were leaders from various relevant departments, as well as representatives from Becamex IDC Corporation and Becamex Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company.
At the meeting, Mr. Doan Van Phi stated that Binh Dinh province regularly organizes activities to attract investment and promote friendly cooperation between the province and localities and partners in Japan. To date, two local cooperation agreements have been signed: one between the Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee and the Izumisano City Government (Osaka Prefecture), and another between the Vinh Thanh District People’s Committee and the Yoshino Town Government (Nara Prefecture).

Binh Dinh province hopes that the delegation from the Nagano Prefectural Council will connect Japanese businesses to explore, survey, and invest in the region. The province seeks support in promoting its potential, advantages, and distinctive products to the Japanese market to enhance investment, trade, and tourism. This includes legal support and providing standards and regulations to increase the export of Binh Dinh’s products to Japan.
During their visit to Binh Dinh, the delegation also engaged with Becamex Binh Dinh JSC, the developer behind the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh project.

The delegation was thoroughly impressed by Binh Dinh province’s immense potential. They lauded its well-integrated infrastructure, favorable investment climate, and compelling incentives for businesses. Notably, the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh project – with over 200 hectares of prime industrial land and cutting-edge infrastructure – is well-positioned to meet the evolving needs of global investors. Furthermore, the province’s comprehensive development of residential areas, urban centers, resettlement zones, and worker housing demonstrates its commitment to attracting and retaining a skilled workforce, thereby enhancing the region’s overall vitality.
