(SPL)- On the morning of February 7, Mr. Nguyen Phi Long, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee, together with leaders of local departments and agencies, visited Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company (Van Canh District) and sent Tet greetings. During this visit, the delegation also went to inspect the entire project.

Briefly reporting to Chairman Nguyen Phi Long on the results of the implementation of the tasks in 2021 along with the direction and tasks of 2022, Mr. Nguyen Van Lang, General Director of Becamex Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company, said: 2021 was a year of many difficulties and challenges for the Company due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic as well as the impact of the global economic recession in Vietnam. Besides, the relatively complicated weather condition also greatly affected the production of enterprises in Binh Dinh province, in general, and Becamex Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company, in particular.

However, thanks to the attention and facilitation of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People’s Committee as well as the high determination from the Board of Directors and all employees of the Company, in 2021, Becamex Joint Stock Company Binh Dinh still strived to meet and exceed set targets.

Specifically: Currently, 1,000 hectares of land in Becamex-Binh Dinh Industrial Park have been inventoried, achieving 100% of the plan (of which, 607.2 hectares have been paid compensation in the amount of 219.3 billion VND).

At the same time, the Company also focused on investing in infrastructure and technical construction in the industrial park with 210 hectares eligible to hand over the project construction site to secondary investors. The goal of the 2022 mission is to complete the site clearance and pay the compensation for 1,425 hectares of the industrial park including 4 resettlement and residential areas. Implement technical completion construction to reach 80% of the completed construction area of the waste treatment plant, roads, power grid, etc., to meet the needs of investors to lease land.

Particularly, in the 4 resettlement – residential areas, the Company will also ensure 100% of the work of applying for land allocation with the land allocation decision from the Management Board of the Economic Zone, and at the same time, grant resettlement land to people in the resettlement areas as well as approach enhanced advertising and investment attraction.

At the meeting, the Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Phi Long highly appreciated the results that the Company had achieved in 2021. Through this occasion, he also suggested that the business continue to use all resources to quickly complete the compensation to ensure the interests of businesses and people affected by the project, as well as promote and attract investment.
