Mr. Le Kim Toan – Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, led a working delegation of Binh Dinh province to visit and work with the Vietnamese Consulate General in Vancouver on the morning of November 27. Consul General Nguyen Quang Trung welcomed, worked with, and informed the delegation about the activities of the Consulate General.
Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Le Kim Toan briefed the Consul General, the Vietnamese Business Association in Canada, and the Vietnamese community in Vancouver on the province’s socio-economic development in recent times, especially the attraction of foreign investment in Binh Dinh, the fields that the province is interested in, and the priorities for investment promotion. He also discussed with the Consul General the working agenda and the organization of seminars for the delegation in Vancouver, Canada. During this visit and work in Canada, Binh Dinh province wishes to enhance cooperation with Canadian partners. Therefore, the province hopes that the Consul General will continue to study and support, and act as an important bridge to help Binh Dinh connect and seek investment opportunities from Canadian partners in Binh Dinh in general and Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park in particular.
As part of their activities in Canada, the delegation of Binh Dinh province met with the British Columbia Technology Association on the morning of November 27.
Mr. Brian Roberts – Vice President of the Association, welcomed the delegation and shared the Association’s activities in supporting businesses in various fields.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Lam Hai Giang and representatives of Becamex Binh Dinh JSC talked to the Association about the potential and strengths of Binh Dinh and Becamex Binh Dinh, especially the direction of Binh Dinh in developing and attracting businesses in the field of information technology and artificial intelligence at Quang Trung Software Park – Binh Dinh.
Vice Chairman Lam Hai Giang kindly asked Mr. Brian Roberts to help share and exchange with the members of the British Columbia Technology Association about the investment opportunities in Binh Dinh in the near future.
