As part of a recent business trip to Taiwan, Becamex Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company hosted an investment promotion seminar on the morning of June 11, 2024. The event attracted over 20 Taiwanese companies from diverse industries and sectors, all interested in exploring investment opportunities in Vietnam, with a particular focus on Binh Dinh province.

At the seminar’s opening, Mr. Ha Thuc Duy Sang, Permanent Deputy General Director of Becamex Binh Dinh JSC, outlined the potential of Binh Dinh province. He began by highlighting its geographical location and strengths, showcasing the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park project as a prime example. Emphasizing investor potential, Mr. Sang expressed a strong desire to attract investment from Taiwanese corporations and SMEs, particularly in sectors aligned with Binh Dinh’s development goals. These include processing and manufacturing, logistics, information technology, high-tech and environmentally friendly industries, and projects fostering high added value. In collaboration with Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh, the province is committed to continuously improving the investment environment, striving to become an ideal destination for both domestic and international investors.

Mr. Eric Wu, a representative from KPMG, a firm with over 28 years of supporting foreign businesses in Vietnam, presented at the seminar. KPMG boasts an impressive client list of 8,000 corporations and multinationals. Mr. Wu’s focus was on the potential and strengths of Vietnam’s investment environment. He further emphasized KPMG’s commitment to assisting Taiwanese businesses with investment opportunities, not only in Vietnam as a whole, but specifically within Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh.

A lively exchange and discussion session followed the presentations, where representatives from Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh fielded questions from Taiwanese businesses. These inquiries covered a range of topics, including investment procedures, policies, and attractive sectors. Human resources, seaport access, and other logistical concerns were also addressed. Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh reassured attendees that investors in the project would receive the full support and preferential policies offered by the Binh Dinh provincial government.
