As part of an investment promotion program in the US, delegation from Binh Dinh province, headed by Mr. Le Kim Toan – Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the province’s National Assembly delegation, met with the Vietnamese Embassy this morning (November 20, 2023). The meeting was also attended by Mr. Doan Van Phi – Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, and Mr. Lam Hai Giang – Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, leaders of various departments and sectors, and representatives of Becamex Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to the United States, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung, and the Embassy staff welcomed and collaborated with the delegation from Binh Dinh province.

Vietnamese Ambassador to the US Nguyen Quoc Dung greeted the Binh Dinh delegation warmly at the Embassy. He said their visit and work in the US was significant, as the two countries had recently established a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership – the highest level of bilateral relations for Vietnam. This marked a new historical phase in the Vietnam – US relationship, while opening up many opportunities and prospects for cooperation and development.

During this visit and work in the United States, Binh Dinh province seeks to foster cooperative relations with US partners, especially by showcasing the potential of industrial development of Binh Dinh province to US businesses. Therefore, the province requests that the Vietnamese Embassy in the United States and Ambassador Nguyen Quoc Dung continue to facilitate the connection, explore the opportunities to attract investment from US partners to Binh Dinh in general and Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park in particular.
