This visit is part of the province’s investment promotion program in the Netherlands, Germany, and France. Accompanying the delegation were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang, leaders of various departments and sectors, leaders of Becamex Binh Dinh JSC, and representatives of Becamex IDC. The delegation was received by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to the Netherlands, Ngo Huong Nam, Trade Counselor Vo Thi Ngoc Diep, and other embassy officials.
Deputy Secretary Le Kim Toan thanked the embassy for taking the time to meet with the delegation. On behalf of the delegation, he provided information on the province’s socio-economic development, particularly in attracting foreign investment and priority sectors. He also outlined the delegation’s visit program in the Netherlands, which includes investment and trade promotion seminars. He expressed hope that the embassy would continue to support and act as a crucial bridge to help Binh Dinh connect and seek investment opportunities from Dutch partners, especially for the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park. Currently, the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park has a Dutch enterprise manufacturing wooden furniture for export on an area of over 35 hectares, with a total investment of about 50 million USD under construction.
Vietnamese Ambassador to the Netherlands, Ngo Huong Nam, praised Binh Dinh Province’s delegation visit. He noted that the Netherlands, with its developed economy and flourishing comprehensive partnership with Vietnam, is an ideal partner for Binh Dinh in attracting investment and developing trade. He emphasized that the delegation’s visit would strengthen the cooperation between Vietnam and the Netherlands, as well as between Binh Dinh and the Netherlands. The Vietnamese Embassy in the Netherlands is committed to supporting and closely coordinating to attract Dutch investors and businesses to Binh Dinh.
