On July 21, Mr. Ho Quoc Dung – Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council – inspected the progress of site clearance work of the project of Investment in infrastructure construction and business of Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial – Urban – Service Complex (Van Canh district). Also going to the inspection were Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Phi Long and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh.
According to the report of Becamex Binh Dinh JSC, up to now, the land inventory has reached 88%, equivalent to 1,253 hectares; the compensation payment has reached 52.5%, equivalent to 599 hectares; Becamex Binh Dinh JSC has paid compensation with a total amount of 131.5 billion VND. After obtaining the land handover with an area of 196 hectares, Becamex Binh Dinh JSC is now focusing on constructing industrial park infrastructure. However, at present, there are still a number of households who have not accepted the compensation and support and have not yet handed over the site according to the plans approved by the Provincial People’s Committee, affecting the overall progress of the project’s site clearance.
At the meeting, the investor suggested that the provincial leaders focus on solving difficulties and problems to speed up the progress of compensation and site clearance for handing over the Hiep Vinh 1A resettlement – residential area for investors to provide resettlement land for the people and build housing for workers; Strengthen the work of mobilizing people to observe the guidelines and policies of the State in receiving compensation for handing over the site of the wastewater treatment plant; At the same time, pay attention to the site clearance of the 3 plants of Pisico Corporation and hand over the route 638 to subdivision 7, so that the investor could have a basis for designing and constructing the railway overpass connecting to the project… Concluding at the inspection, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Quoc Dung emphasized the importance of the project of Investment in infrastructure construction and business of Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial – Urban – Service Complex, in general, and the industrial park project, in particular, to the socio-economic development of the province. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the relevant levels and branches of the province and Van Canh district to strengthen coordination with Becamex Binh Dinh JSC to speed up the site clearance to implement the project to build the infrastructure of the industrial park and resettlement areas for the people as soon as possible.
