On the morning of May 6, at the Provincial People’s Committee Office, Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, a Member of the Central Party Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, met with Mr. Sasaki Hajime, a Member of House of Representatives of Japan and Chairman of the Committee on Transportation, Land, Infrastructure, and Tourism, along with Mr. Nishino Daisuke, another Member of House of Representatives of Japan and Chief of Staff of the Budget Office at the Japanese Ministry of Finance (National Diet).
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh – Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and leaders from various relevant departments, agencies, Becamex IDC Corporation, and Becamex Binh Dinh JSC were also present at the meeting.
Mr. Ho Quoc Dung anticipates that the visit by members of the Japanese House of Representatives will bolster cooperation and friendship between Binh Dinh province and Japanese regions. Specifically, the focus is on enhancing ties with Osaka and Nagano prefectures, as well as fostering a friendly relationship between Quy Nhon city and Ashikaga city in Tochigi prefecture. Moreover, the initiative aims to facilitate connections between Japanese businesses and opportunities for investment in Binh Dinh, while simultaneously promoting the province’s potential and products in the Japanese market.
During their visit to Binh Dinh, members of the Japanese House of Representatives engaged with Becamex Binh Dinh JSC, the investor of the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh project.
The delegation highly regards Binh Dinh province’s potential, encompassing its efficient infrastructure, favorable business climate, and investment incentives. Additionally, the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh project, sprawling across 200 hectares of prime land with complete technical infrastructure, is poised to meet the needs of international investors. Their visit also included an examination of the housing project site tailored for workers, strategically targeting labor attraction for employment and residency in the region.
