Within the framework of the working visit to the United States, on November 23 morning (local time), Binh Dinh province in collaboration with Becamex IDC Corporation, and Becamex Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company held a meeting with the Vietnam Trade Promotion Center in New York.

Mr Lam Hai Giang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee of Binh Dinh province, chaired the meeting. Also attending were leaders of the provincial departments and Becamex Binh Dinh JSC.

The delegation was received and worked with Mr Nguyen Manh Hung, Director of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Center in New York, and the staff of the Center.

On behalf of the working delegation of Binh Dinh province, Vice Chairman Lam Hai Giang briefed on the socio-economic situation of Binh Dinh province, the orientation in attracting foreign investment into the province, and the potential and strengths of the province in various fields.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr Lam Hai Giang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee of Binh Dinh province, thanked the Vietnam Trade Promotion Center in New York for arranging the meeting with the delegation. He requested the Center to study and support the province in building and establishing cooperative relations with US partners; provide trade information, advise and guide US businesses seeking to expand their business with the Vietnamese market in general and Binh Dinh in particular; organize delegations of businesses from the US to Binh Dinh to survey the market and explore investment opportunities at Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park; and also serve as a bridge to provide information for domestic businesses in general and Binh Dinh in particular when they have the need to expand their investment activities to the US.
