As part of their official visit to the United States and Canada, Binh Dinh province collaborated with Becamex IDC Corporation and Becamex Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company to host an investment promotion seminar in Burnaby City, British Columbia, Canada on the afternoon of November 27 (Canada time).
Mr. Le Kim Toan – Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Dinh province, presided over the seminar. The seminar was attended by Mr. Jagrup Brar, the Trade Minister of British Columbia; Ms. Alison Gu, a Council Member of Burnaby City; Mr. Hassan Kamalinejad, the Trade Policy Director of the Ministry of Economic Development, Innovation and Employment of British Columbia; Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung, the Vietnamese Consul General in Vancouver, Canada; and various British Columbian businesses.
The seminar featured presentations by Becamex IDC Corporation representatives and Binh Dinh province delegates. They highlighted the province’s potential and advantages; explained the mechanisms and policies to encourage investment in economic and industrial zones, especially the incentives for investors in Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park.
Binh Dinh province has been actively pursuing cooperation with Canadian organizations, businesses, and partners in recent years. The leaders of Binh Dinh province visited and worked with the Burnaby City government this time to establish, improve, and foster long-term cooperation between the two sides.
