On the afternoon of November 1, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Phi Long visited the construction site of Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park and worked with Becamex Binh Dinh JSC on the implementation status of the project of Investment in infrastructure construction and business of Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park (Van Canh district).
According to Becamex Binh Dinh JSC and functional branches of the province, the progress of implementing the Project of investment in infrastructure construction and business of Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park has achieved positive results. Regarding site clearance, up to now, the Company and the functional branches of the province have inventoried 1,394 hectares of land, reaching 98% of the total area, of which, 734 hectares of land have been compensated by Becamex Binh Dinh JSC with a total amount of 214.3 billion VND. As for the construction of infrastructure, up to now, the enterprise has constructed leveling and technical infrastructure on an area of 110 hectares; constructed roads, rainwater and wastewater drainage systems, and residential resettlement area of Hiep Vinh 1A, which have exceeded the set schedule.

At the meeting, Becamex Binh Dinh JSC proposed to the provincial authorities to support in mobilizing businesses to move out of the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park project area; completing the procedures for land lease and issuance of land use right certificates, in order to soon provide land use right certificates to Kurz Group; In addition, speeding up the construction of a clean water supply system for the resettlement area, housing for workers and Kurz investor. The enterprise also proposed to the Provincial People’s Committee to allow investment in upgrading 3 main roads in Van Canh district to connect with the Industrial Park, ensuring convenient traffic.
Concluding at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Phi Long requested Becamex Binh Dinh JSC to closely coordinate with the functional branches of the province and the People’s Committee of Van Canh district to focus on implementing the Project of investment in infrastructure construction and business of Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park; and from then until the end of 2021, to inventory all the remaining areas of the Industrial Park. Becamex Binh Dinh JSC and the Provincial Site Clearance Board need to soon complete the compensation for the people affected by the project; Along with that, focus on site clearance, deploy workers, materials and machines at the construction site to speed up the construction progress of infrastructure of industrial parks and resettlement areas to arrange residential land for people.

Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Phi Long assigned the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board to work with Binh Dinh Water Supply and Sewerage JSC to quickly solve the supply of clean water for Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park; at the same time, develop mechanisms and policies to attract investment in the Industrial Park, and report to the Provincial People’s Committee. The Department of Industry and Trade and the Department of Construction need to jointly study and propose the Provincial People’s Committee to expand Van Canh Industrial Complex by 20 hectares to allocate land for businesses affected by the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park project to relocate. The People’s Committee of Van Canh district needs to strictly manage the inventoried land areas, not to allow people to arbitrarily encroach on them. Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Phi Long agreed for Becamex Binh Dinh JSC to invest in upgrading 3 main traffic roads in Van Canh district connecting with Becamex Binh Dinh Industrial Park.
